The Sarasota Choral Society has been performing in the Sarasota/Manatee/Venice area for almost seven decades and in that time we have presented our prestigious productions of sacred and secular choral music at some very fine venues. These include, but are not limited to; The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, Neel Performing Arts Hall at SCF, The Sarasota Municipal Auditorium, The John & Mable Ringling Museum Courtyard, Epiphany Cathedral in Venice, First Baptist, First Methodist, St. Armands Key Lutheran, Church of the Palms Presbyterian, Pine Shores Presbyterian, and Bee Ridge Presbyterian. Welcome to The Sarasota Choral Society website. We hope you enjoy browsing the information contained herein and find it entertaining and informative. If you would like to contact us with questions or suggestions, please click on CONTACTS at the top of this page.

Membership is open to any and all who enjoy singing. New members are welcome and encouraged to register in advance. All you need is a desire to sing. Auditions are not required. Click here for details. Scroll down to Rehearsals for dates and times.

Rehearsal schedule for the 2015 Messiah:

Each Tuesday at 7:30pm at Church of the Palms Presbyterian beginning on October 27 and continuing Nov. 3, 10, 17, 24, and Dec. 1, 2015. December 1 will be a dress rehearsal with the orchestra and soloists and all chorus members are expected to attend. There will be no dress rehearsal on the day of the performance, just a warm-up. Click on "Join Us" above to renew your membership and to join in this wonderful experience.
