Saturday – June 26th

7:00 p.m. – until ?

Ingemar & Janet Persson hosted a wonderful evening of Hawaiian music, fun, and entertainment to help raise much needed funds for The Sarasota Choral Society. Catered by the Oaks, the delicious menu consisted of Pulled Pork w/honey sauce, Cole Slaw, Rice, and Rolls. Paul Weber provided a Pineapple Upside-Down Cake and virgin Pina Coladas topped off the evening for a frozen island beverage treat.

Entertainment was provided by 2 Delightful Hula Dancers, Sue Kerzisnik and Beverly Dye with authentic Hawaiian music. The kids not only enjoyed some water sports, but participated in Hula lessons & Limbo contests as well.

A Silent Auction was held which included a SUNSET CRUISE FOR 4 on a 27’ World Cat, SAIL SARASOTA BAY FOR 4 on a 22’ Yawl, a beautiful necklace, as well as a group of delightful, original design, pink flamingoes.

Many thanks to all of the volunteers who assisted with this event, all of the attendees who helped support our organization, as well as to Ingemar and Janet for hosting it.
