Robert Beane, tenor, lives in Fort
Myers, FL. He is the tenor section leader and soloist
at the Moorings Presbyterian Church in Naples and is the
tenor section leader for the Fort Myers Symphonic
Mastersingers. In recent years, he has traveled to
Europe and the Middle East and has done the tenor work
in the Mozart Requiem, Verdi Requiem and
in the Bulgarian Premier of Mendelssohn’s Elijah.
This season, Robert will be seen in
Southwest Florida singing Handel’s Messiah with
the Voices of Naples, at Covenant Presbyterian Church in
Fort Myers, with the Fort Myers Symphonic Mastersingers,
and with the Sarasota Choral Society. He will also sing
Puccini’s Messe de Gloria, Dubois’ The Seven
Last Words of Christ, as Kaspar in Menotti’s
Amahl and the Night Visitors, Rheinberger’s Mass
in C, and with the Naples Orchestra and
Chorus performing exerpts from Handel’s Judas
Maccabaeus. Robert is also scheduled to sing in a
variety of other events throughout Southwest Florida.
An Iowa native, he studied at
Wartburg College with Dr. C. Robert Larson.
