All rehearsals will take place at the Palms Center, the building immediately south of the Sanctuary, our performance venue at the Church of the Palms.

Singers, mark your calendars!

Rehearsals will begin on Monday, November 2nd at 7 pm, with five weekly rehearsals leading up to a dress rehearsal on Monday, December 7th, and the final performance on Saturday, December 12th at 4 pm. 

Rehearsals Matter!

Rehearsals are critical even for our most experienced Messiah singers — because they’re where we blend our sound as a group, get comfortable with the director’s style, and come together as one chorus. We know schedules get busy, so we simply ask that everyone aim to attend at least 4 of the 5 November rehearsals, along with the December dress rehearsal. We’ll be taking attendance each week just so we can keep track of where everyone is.

The first rehearsal on November 2nd is especially helpful to us for you to attend, since that’s when we begin building the seating chart. We do ask that everyone make every effort to be at the December 7th dress rehearsal, since there is no later opportunity to pull the group together before the performance.

If you know in advance that you’ll need to miss a rehearsal (including the dress rehearsal), just reach out to our director, Kari Hamada, ahead of time.

We know life happens and schedules don’t always cooperate.
If you anticipate missing a rehearsal, please contact Kari as early as possible. While we won't be able to accommodate every situation, advance communication helps us plan effectively and make the best decisions for both the singer and ensemble.
