The Sarasota Choral Society benefits many groups of people. Through your donation you can enjoy and be uplifted by one of the largest and longest running productions of sacred classical music in the Sarasota area.

 

However, organizing an event as substantial and complex as the Messiah requires considerable resources. The soloists, accompanists, orchestra, and artistic director are all paid professionals.  Also, local venue costs and basic costs of operation, including supplies, printing, and advertising are increasing in our local market. Yet, the Society is fortunate in that it has no paid staff or costly office space, and it relies exclusively on work-from-home volunteers to address “backstage” and other organization duties. So, every dollar that you contribute to us goes directly to our activities.

The Sarasota Choral Society, a member of the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Sarasota County, is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, meaning that your donations are fully tax-deductible as allowed by law.
